National Cocktail Day, the Caribbean Way
There’s something about being in Turks & Caicos that changes the way you drink.
Maybe it’s the warmth in the air, the salt on your skin, or the simple fact that time slows down just enough to savour the moment. Cocktails here aren’t rushed. They’re enjoyed. Shared. Remembered.
This National Cocktail Day, March 24, we’re celebrating with five elevated serves, each built around some of our favourite bottles, and designed for long afternoons, golden sunsets, and everything in between.
Sunset Old Fashioned
Featuring Macallan
A cocktail for when the sun begins to dip and the pace of the day softens. This refined twist on the classic Old Fashioned brings subtle warmth and depth, with just a hint of Caribbean influence.
Ingredients:
2 oz Macallan 12
0.25 oz demerara syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters
Method:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 20–30 seconds until well chilled.
Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
Garnish with an orange peel and (optional) a cherry and a small piece of grilled pineapple.

Island Spritz
Featuring Moët & Chandon
Light, bright, and made for sun-soaked afternoons. This is your elegant poolside companion, effortlessly refreshing with a citrus-forward lift.
Ingredients:
3 oz Moët & Chandon Champagne
2 oz Aperol
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
Splash of soda water
Method:
Fill a wine glass with ice. Add Aperol and grapefruit juice.
Top with Champagne and a splash of soda.
Stir gently to combine.
Garnish with a grapefruit slice and fresh mint.

Easygoing but very elegant, the kind of cocktail that turns one glass into two without you noticing.
Turks & Caicos Mule
Featuring Tito’s Vodka
Crisp, cooling, and endlessly drinkable. A classic mule, reimagined with a subtle tropical note that feels right at home by the beach.
Ingredients:
2 oz Tito’s Vodka
3 oz ginger beer
0.75 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz coconut water
Method:
Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice.
Add vodka, lime juice, and coconut water.
Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
Garnish with a lime wedge and fresh mint.

Refreshing with just enough kick, perfect after a swim or in between sun loungers.
Champagne Colada
Featuring Mionetto Prosecco
A celebration in a glass. This cocktail blends indulgence and freshness, combining tropical flavours with the unmistakable vibe of Prosecco.
Ingredients:
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz coconut cream
0.5 oz white rum
Mionetto Prosecco (to top)
Method:
Add pineapple juice, coconut cream, and rum to a shaker with ice.
Shake well until chilled and slightly frothy.
Strain into a chilled flute.
Top with Prosecco.
Garnish with a pineapple wedge.

Caribbean Sidecar
Featuring Hennessy Cognac
Bright citrus meets smooth richness in this refined, sunset-ready serve. Perfect as the day transitions into evening.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Hennessy VS
0.75 oz orange liqueur
0.75 oz fresh lime juice
0.25 oz simple syrup
Method:
(Optional: rim a coupe glass with sugar.)
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
Shake well until chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with an orange twist.
